TechShield Tools ("we", "us") is built to respect your privacy. This policy explains what is — and isn't — collected when you use the site, and the choices you have.

Calculations stay on your device. Every calculator runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. The numbers you enter (prices, incomes, dates, weights, and so on) are never sent to us, stored, or shared. We never see them.

Information we don't collect. We do not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email, or personal details to use any calculator.

Standard technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, for security and aggregate traffic measurement.

Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small file stored by your browser. We use them in two categories:

Essential cookies / local storage. We store your cookie-consent choice on your own device so we don't ask you on every visit. This is strictly necessary for the site to work and does not track you.

Advertising and analytics cookies (only with your consent). We may in future use Google AdSense to display ads and a privacy-respecting analytics service to understand which tools are popular. These set cookies only after you agree through our consent banner, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

Advertising by Google

If advertising is enabled on this site:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to TechShield Tools and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (myadcenter.google.com). You can also opt out of many third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu (for the EU/UK).
• We use Google Consent Mode, which means advertising and analytics storage stays disabled by default until you consent, and visitors in the EU, UK and other regions with consent requirements are asked before any such cookies are set.

Your choices and rights

Managing consent. Use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer to accept or reject non-essential cookies at any time. If you reject them, the calculators continue to work normally.

GDPR (EU/UK) and CCPA/CPRA (California). Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. Because our calculators do not collect personal information, there is normally nothing for us to access or delete, but any personalized-advertising data is controlled through the opt-outs above and Google's own tools. You can also contact us with any request.

Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Our consent banner already keeps advertising and analytics off until you opt in, which achieves the same result.

Children's privacy

TechShield Tools is a general-audience site and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Some pages may link to external sites; we are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their policies.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a revised date. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
